Once the base frames are ready, you can mount the first leg on one of them. Make sure that the first leg is on in such a way that it supports the joint of the two base frame pieces. Basically, the half the first leg will be on the end piece and the other half on the crossbeam.

Use angle braces to mount the 2x4s to the frame. Make sure to put glue on any contact point to add support.
